Summer Camp for pre-kindergarten through fifth grade is your opportunity to keep your child in an engaging environment all day long where learning and fun continue throughout the summer months. Campers participate in a variety of hands-on activities, themed projects, outdoor play, and creative experiences that encourage curiosity, teamwork, and self-expression. Daily opportunities for physical activity, exploration, and social interaction help children build confidence, resilience, and positive peer relationships. Caring staff provide structure, encouragement, and supervision while allowing campers the freedom to explore interests, try new activities, and enjoy a balanced summer filled with discovery, growth, and meaningful connections.

Grouped by Grade for Age Appropriate Activities
Spring Branch Presbyterian Academy sets our summer camps apart by grouping children by grade to ensure your child gets the most out of activities that are age-appropriate and engaging. It helps children feel comfortable with peers their own age while allowing caregivers and teachers the opportunity to tailor activities for a fun and supportive experience.
Safe & Clean Facilities
At the Academy, your child’s safety and wellbeing come first. Our facility is secured with controlled-entry doors, monitored play areas, and strict sign-in procedures to ensure every child is protected throughout the day. We maintain high cleanliness standards so classrooms and toys sanitized every day with regular deep-cleanings.
Our staff is trained in emergency protocols, first aid, and hygiene best practices, to create the optimal environment for learning and play.
From clean rooms to carefully maintained outdoor spaces, every corner of our center is designed to give parents peace of mind and children a healthy, comfortable place to grow.
Warm & Professional Caregivers
With a low teacher-to-student ratio, we prioritize small group sizes so camp counselors can build strong, trusting relationships with every child. Through individualized attention and a structured environment, our camp counselors foster growth and curiosity throughout the day.
The kids will also learn about the value of a Christian Character which we will build through Chapel. We have crazy themed days, fantastic in-house fieldtrips, exciting gym games, creative art projects, calming daily devotionals, and so much more! Your child will be stay with their Pre-K group as they enjoy the entire summer.
Daily Routines
Our goal is to provide your child with a well-rounded curriculum that challenges them physically, mentally, and spiritually. We achieve this by offering a variety of areas/rooms that the groups will visit each day. Here is a list of those areas and their goals:
Creative Art
Our art projects give your child the opportunity to hone their fine motor skills and communication skills, as well as improve their cognitive thinking. Your child will leave this room thinking: “I did it!”
Arcade
Our arcade helps your child learn to share and take turns all while enjoying some of their favorite games!
Chapel
This is a weekly time that we will have worship, teachings, and breakout sessions with Pastor Mark. We will focus on building character through the example of Jesus Christ.
Games Galore
The games in this room are “old fashion”: like Twister, and Hungry Hippos! These games help build self-esteem, and teach patience and how to follow directions.
Free Play / Playground
During outside time, your child has the opportunity to play with friends and just be a kid!
Organized Sports
These games teach your child about being a team player, depending on one other, and working together.
Manipulative Room
In this room we connect all your child’s new skills by using learning centers. These centers allow children to gather in small groups to focus their attention on specific kinds of play activities.
Library Time
This time is dedicated for the kids to relax and read a great book.
Lillio Leaning (Formerly Funshine Express)
During our summer program, our curriculum changes yearly. We are always finding new themes to explore. In addition to the summer theme, we focus on “STEAM” activities with a hands-on educational approach to learning that uses Science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialog and critical thinking. With weekly labs to explore all STEAM has to offer. Most importantly Children will learn about the value of a Christian character, which we build through weekly chapel and VBS.

Parent Involvement & Social Support
In addition to offering incredibly affordable child care options, Spring Branch Presbyterian Academy goes further to offer parents a greater sense of community. Through the structure of the Academy and with support from the church, parents have numerous opportunities and events to interact with caregivers, connect with other families, and receive supplemental guidance on developmental milestones or parenting questions.
The Director’s door is always open and parents are welcome to meet with the Director, if available, or arrange to meet at a convenient time.
