Spring Branch Presbyterian Academy follows SBISD & Texas Education Agency pre-k guidelines so your child will be thoroughly prepared for kindergarten. We supplement those guidelines with an engaging learning environment that cultivates a love of learning. Classrooms are thoughtfully designed to promote independence, collaboration, and purposeful exploration through structured learning centers and hands-on activities. Children are encouraged to strengthen early literacy, math, and problem-solving skills while participating in group discussions, creative expression, and imaginative play. Consistent routines and clear expectations help children develop self-regulation, responsibility, and confidence. Teachers guide learning through intentional instruction, positive reinforcement, and meaningful interactions that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and strong social-emotional skills, preparing children for a successful transition to kindergarten.

Safe & Clean Facilities
At the Academy, your child’s safety and wellbeing come first. Our facility is secured with controlled-entry doors, monitored play areas, and strict sign-in procedures to ensure every child is protected throughout the day. We maintain high cleanliness standards so classrooms and toys sanitized every day with regular deep-cleanings.
Our staff is trained in emergency protocols, first aid, and hygiene best practices, to create the optimal environment for learning and play.
From clean rooms to carefully maintained outdoor spaces, every corner of our center is designed to give parents peace of mind and children a healthy, comfortable place to grow.
Warm & Professional Caregivers
At our daycare, the heart of our program is an remarkable team of caregivers who have been brought into the fold for their warmth, professionalism, and genuine passion for working with children. Every staff member is CPR & First Aid Certified and refreshes their skillset every year with 24 hours of training in infant care and early childhood development to provide for the unique needs of infants as they develop.
With 3 caregivers and a low teacher-to-student ratio, we prioritize small group sizes so caregivers can build strong, trusting relationships with every child. Through individualized attention and structured environment our caregivers foster growth and curiosity throughout the day.
We’re proud to have caregivers who have been with us for 20+ years, and the average tenure of our teachers is 5 years. Parents can rest assured that their child is receiving the highest quality of care from dedicated professionals who treat each child as their own.
Daily Routines & Structure
Children thrive when they feel secure, so each day follows a predictable routine that helps them build confidence and understand what to expect. The Academy daycare provides children with the ideal balance of structure and discovery through consistent daily routines and a thoughtfully designed educational curriculum.
The curriculum is based on educational foundations for early childhood learning and development and is blended with hands-on activities, play-based exploration, and academic exploration into language, math, and social skills. Our caregivers intentionally plan activities that support each child’s developmental milestones.

Spring Branch Presbyterian Academy’s Pre-K curriculum aligns with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) Pre-K Guidelines to build essential social-emotional, cognitive, language, and physical skills through integrated, play-based learning. The curriculum includes specific programs and assessments to ensure kindergarten readiness and long-term academic success.

Parent Involvement & Social Support
In addition to offering incredibly affordable childcare options, Spring Branch Presbyterian Academy goes further to offer parents a greater sense of community. Through the structure of the Academy and with support from the church, parents have numerous opportunities and events to interact with caregivers, connect with other families, and receive supplemental guidance on developmental milestones or parenting questions.
The Director’s door is always open and parents are welcome to meet with the Director, if available, or arrange to meet at a convenient time.
