Learning experiences

We provide preschool learning experiences and child care for children ages 6 weeks though pre-kindergarten. We also offer after-school care and summer camp for pre-kinder through 5th grade.

Children are accepted into our program throughout the year when space is available and when the child's age is in the same range as other children already enrolled in the class. The child's birthday relative to Sept. 1 is used to determine placement. Children usually are not moved to other classes except at our regular promotion time. New classes are formed and currently enrolled children are promoted each year in August, the same week Spring Branch Independent School District begins its new school year.

6:30 AM - 6:30 PM, MONDAY - FRIDAY
(ALL YEAR LONG!)

We follow state and federal guidelines in all the prescribed areas of health and safety standards.

Spring Branch Presbyterian Academy is licensed by the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services. We undergo regular inspections by this agency and by the Harris County Health Department and the local fire marshal.

We also offer private pre-kinder classes from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm with extended care in the mornings and afternoons.

Mother's Day Out is available two or three days a week from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon, with extended care available until 2:30 pm. In addition, we also offer two or three days a week of full day care. Most part-time students attend either Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday. All families who opt for a two or three-day program will be sharing space in the classroom with another child who comes on the opposite schedule. All day scheduling outside the usual Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday programs will be evaluated on a semester-by-semester basis.
